The Ministry of Interior Qatar has shared an important reminder that child safety is a shared responsibility. Following safety guidelines helps protect children from risks and ensures their safety in daily life.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to follow important child safety practices, including supervising children in swimming pools to prevent drowning, not allowing children under the age of 10 to sit in front seats, and never leaving children unattended inside a vehicle.
The Ministry also advised parents to monitor children in play and entertainment areas, handle children calmly and carefully during emergencies, and participate in choosing electronic games that are appropriate for their age to ensure safe and positive experiences.
Child safety awareness plays an important role in protecting children at home, in public places, and during travel, and families are encouraged to always stay alert and follow safety guidelines.
