Eid Al-Adha 2026 Confirmed To Begin On May 27

The crescent moon marking the beginning of Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH was officially sighted today, confirming that the first day of Eid al-Adha will fall on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

The Day of Arafah, one of the most significant days in the Islamic calendar, will be observed on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, followed by Eid Al-Adha celebrations starting the next day.

Muslims around the world commemorate Eid Al-Adha with prayers, family gatherings, charitable acts, and traditional celebrations. The occasion also coincides with the annual Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

As preparations begin for the holiday, residents and visitors can look forward to festive activities, family experiences, and celebrations taking place across Qatar during the Eid break.
