Qatar has reaffirmed its dedication to children's welfare in its Third National Development Strategy (NDS-3) for 2024–2030, aligning with the Qatar National Vision 2030. This strategy emphasizes ensuring that all children receive high-quality development, care, and basic education through modern curricula, effective teaching methods, and digital technology support.
In line with this commitment, the Community College of Qatar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, launched the Higher Education Certificate Programme in Early Childhood starting from the 2024–2025 academic year. This initiative aims to prepare specialized educational professionals in the field.
Additionally, a survey conducted by the National Planning Council in cooperation with UNICEF revealed that all children in Qatar are enrolled in organized learning one year prior to the official age for primary education, and 84% of children are enrolled in early childhood education.
These efforts reflect Qatar's integrated approach to early childhood development, rooted in societal values that emphasize building strong, cohesive families capable of raising children and safeguarding their rights, supported by constitutional and legal frameworks, as well as relevant national policies and strategies.
