Amiri Diwan Announces Eid Al Fitr Holiday Schedule for 2025

The Amiri Diwan has officially announced the Eid Al Fitr holiday schedule for 2025, bringing festive cheer to employees across various sectors in Qatar. This much-anticipated announcement outlines the public holiday period for government institutions, banks, and financial entities.

Holiday Schedule for Government Employees

Ministries, government agencies, and public institutions will observe the Eid Al Fitr holiday starting from Sunday, March 30, 2025, until Monday, April 7, 2025. Normal working hours will resume on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Holiday Schedule for Financial Institutions

For banks, financial institutions, and entities under the supervision of the Qatar Central Bank (QCB), the exact holiday dates will be determined by the QCB Governor. The Qatar Financial Markets Authority will also follow a similar directive.

Private Sector Considerations

Employees in the private sector are encouraged to consult their respective Human Resources departments to confirm their Eid Al Fitr holiday entitlement, as schedules may vary.
