Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality has announced the arrival of two jaguars—one male and one female—gifted by the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
The jaguars will be housed at Al Khor Family Park, where citizens and residents can visit by booking tickets through the Oun application, according to the Ministry’s social media update.
This initiative reflects efforts to strengthen international cooperation in protecting the environment and wildlife while raising awareness about the importance of preserving rare species.
Guyana, known for its breathtaking natural landscapes and expansive rainforests within the Amazon Basin, is home to diverse wildlife, with the jaguar serving as a symbol of the region’s rich biodiversity.
