The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has reminded passengers using metro stations in Qatar to follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for themselves and others. In its safety awareness message, the Ministry highlighted six important precautions that passengers should observe while inside metro stations.

The guidelines include:
Do not run inside stations or on escalators to avoid falls and injuries.
Always keep an eye on your children and ensure they remain safe while moving around the station.
Follow all instructions and safety guidelines displayed or communicated inside metro stations.
Keep a safe distance from train doors while they are opening and closing.
Seek assistance immediately in case of an emergency and follow the appropriate safety instructions.
Keep personal belongings secure while travelling through metro stations.

The Ministry emphasised that following safety guidelines reflects awareness and consideration for others, helping create a safe and comfortable environment for all passengers.Passengers are encouraged to remain alert, follow station instructions and make safety a priority throughout their journey.
