A Celebration of Sports and Olympics
Qatar has gained global recognition as a hub for sports, showcasing its passion and commitment to athletic excellence. The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum offers a fun, interactive, and educational experience that celebrates the history and evolution of sports and the Olympics.
Global History of Sport Exhibit
Start your journey on the 7th floor, where the first exhibit explores the origins of sports across different cultures—from Asia and Europe to the Middle East and Ancient Greece.
Discover antique sports equipment, vintage clothing, and historical archives. Keep an eye out for interactive zones that make the experience even more engaging!
The Olympics Exhibit
The Olympics is the world’s most prestigious multi-sport event, dating back to 1896 in Greece. This exhibit takes you through the evolution of the games, from ancient origins to modern-day spectacles.
Admire displays featuring Olympic mascots, medals, flags, and a comprehensive timeline highlighting the tournament’s rich history.
The Flame – Olympic Torches
Part of the Olympics Exhibit, this stunning installation showcases a collection of Olympic torches dating back to 1928.
Marvel at the beautifully designed torches suspended in glass displays, symbolizing the iconic Olympic flame that marks the beginning of each game.
Hall of Athletes
One of the museum’s main attractions, the Hall of Athletes spans three floors and pays tribute to legendary sports figures. These athletes have broken records, overcome challenges, and left a lasting impact on the sporting world.
Look out for exhibits honouring icons such as Michael Jordan, Pelé, Mutaz Essa Barshim, Steffi Graf, Muhammad Ali, Bruce Lee, and Tony Hawk.
Displays include life-sized photos, jerseys, equipment, and memorable keepsakes.
Qatar: Hosting Nation
Qatar’s rise as a global sports host is celebrated in this exhibit, highlighting major events like the 2006 Doha Asian Games and other international tournaments.
