A group of young SDG Ambassadors received immediate support for their eco-friendly initiative, “Inspired by Eisha,” during a visit to Snoonu’s headquarters in Doha. The students presented their idea: a mobile gift-cart where children learn to transform jars, boxes, and leftover materials into meaningful, sustainable gifts—turning creativity into climate awareness.
The children spoke about everyday waste, especially from birthday parties, and highlighted their desire for a culture where kids “fix things, not just buy new ones.” Their message resonated strongly with Snoonu CEO Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri, who approved QAR 20,000 in funding on the spot—marking one of the fastest green-light decisions in the company’s history.
The moment reflected more than financial support. It offered a snapshot of how sustainability discussions in Qatar are increasingly being shaped by young voices, and how organizations are recognizing the importance of listening to children’s ideas. The project aims to empower youth to take action, promote re-use, and encourage responsible habits within their communities.
