The Ministry of Interior (MOI) Qatar has issued updated safety guidelines for towing caravans and trailers. Key requirements include ensuring the validity of the fire extinguisher, safety of brakes and tires, and proper functionality of rear lighting on the towing vehicle. Additionally, rear reflectors (red) and side reflectors (yellow) must meet quality standards.

The maximum permitted width for caravans is 2.60 meters (including load), while the maximum length is 3.5 meters for single-axle and 5 meters for double-axle trailers.

Towing Timings:
Sunday to Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Drivers must use the Orbital Highway and its exits, adhere to the right lane, and avoid overtaking. Towing is prohibited during adverse weather conditions.
