According to Qatar Weather, strong northwesterly winds are expected to return starting Friday, May 16, 2025, and will continue until the beginning of next week. These winds will range from fresh to strong in speed and may lead to blowing dust and reduced horizontal visibility in some areas.

In addition, marine warnings will remain in effect during this period due to rough sea conditions caused by the high wind activity. Qatar Weather advises residents and seafarers to take precautions, especially in open areas and along the coast.
