Qatar National Library (QNL) is set to captivate audiences at the 2025 Doha International Book Fair with an engaging lineup of interactive and tech-driven activities designed for all age groups.
This year, QNL’s booth will blend cutting-edge technology with cultural enrichment. A highlight of the exhibit is an AI-powered book recommendation tool that offers personalized reading suggestions. Attendees can receive tailored book lists directly to their emails, offering a seamless gateway into QNL’s extensive catalog.
Visitors will also enjoy a 360-degree touchscreen virtual tour, providing a fully immersive experience of the Library’s interior, spaces, and services.
QNL is placing the community at the heart of its participation by inviting the public to influence its programming. Through a digital poll, attendees can vote for a book to be spotlighted in an upcoming Library event and even submit their own suggestions through an interactive platform.
A story dispenser will be available at the booth, offering printed short stories submitted by the community via QNL’s “Write to Inspire” initiative — a perfect takeaway that celebrates creativity.
Families will love the digital puzzle station, where adults can engage with visually rich puzzles featuring QNL imagery, complete with informative captions. A simplified version for children will feature Ramly, the beloved mascot of the Children’s Library, alongside fun and educational messages.
Adding excitement, Ramly will make special appearances daily, delighting school groups and families alike. The ever-popular photo booth also returns this year, allowing visitors to take snapshots against Heritage Library-themed backdrops. These photos will be displayed in real time on a large interactive screen, gradually forming a collaborative mosaic of the Library’s iconic building.
With its focus on engagement, innovation, and community, QNL’s presence at the 2025 Doha International Book Fair promises to be both memorable and meaningful.
