Qatar Regulates Private Sector Working Hours During Ramadan 2026

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Labour has announced new working hour regulations for private sector establishments in Qatar.

During Ramadan, private sector employees will work a maximum of 36 hours per week, with no more than 6 hours per day, in line with the provisions of the Labour Law.

This initiative aims to support employees in observing the holy month while ensuring work-life balance and compliance with national labour standards. Employers are expected to adjust schedules accordingly to respect these directives.
