Qatar Olympic Committee launches a national volunteering platform for sports events in Qatar, aimed at streamlining volunteer engagement across local and international championships.

Launched on 2 February 2026, the Team Qatar Volunteer Platform is a unified national system designed to manage volunteering opportunities across sporting events hosted in the country. The platform centralizes volunteer registration, maintains participant profiles, coordinates volunteer assignments, and supports operations throughout tournaments and sports events in Qatar.

The initiative provides individuals with a structured and accessible way to register and participate as volunteers, supporting Qatar’s growing sports ecosystem and major international competitions.

Currently, the platform is offering volunteering opportunities for the following events:
QOC Half Marathon 2026
4th GCC Games Doha 2026
2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup
2029 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship
2030 Asian Games
