The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Crescent Sighting Committee has officially announced that Thursday, March 19, 2026, will mark the completion of the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1447 AH.

Accordingly, Friday, March 20, 2026, has been confirmed as the first day of Eid Al Fitr in Qatar. The announcement follows the traditional moon sighting process that determines the end of Ramadan and the beginning of the Islamic month of Shawwal.

Eid Al Fitr is one of the most significant occasions in the Islamic calendar, celebrated with special prayers, family gatherings, and acts of charity across the country.
