Qatar Museums Announces June and Eid Al Adha Events
Qatar Museums Free Entry – International Museums Day 2025

Qatar Museums has announced a diverse lineup of events for June and Eid Al Adha 2025, featuring workshops, guided tours, art classes, storytelling sessions, and more.

At the National Museum of Qatar, a guided tour on modern and contemporary Latin American art will run from June 2 to 16 as part of the Qatar-Argentina-Chile 2025 Year of Culture. The Latino Americano exhibition showcases over 170 artworks. Prior registration is required.

From June 7 to 21, families can enjoy a special Eid tour highlighting Qatar’s festive customs, traditional attire, and jewelry. On June 12, the library will host a bilingual storytelling session, “Sirenia: A Little Dugong’s Tale”, followed by the Family’s Exploration Journey activity on June 14.

The Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) will offer guided tours, Arabic calligraphy workshops, and a Family Day dedicated to Islamic culinary traditions on June 14, with an interactive beverage-blending session. A curator-led tour of “A Seat at the Table” exhibition takes place on June 17, revealing the stories behind historical artifacts. On June 23, “Savour the Flavors of Islamic Heritage” will feature traditional baking insights with Milika Derosche. Teens can join the “Geometry for Teens” workshop on June 24 and 25, while the “Still Life Drawing” session offers hands-on artistic training.

At Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, events include the “Action Model Drawing” workshop on June 4, the immersive “Realms of Rhythm” experience on June 21, and two sessions of “Art Adventure” on June 25–26 and June 28–29, focusing on drawing and coloring techniques.

The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum will hold guided tours every Sunday and Wednesday from June 16, exploring sports history, Olympic artifacts, and Khalifa International Stadium.

The Fire Station will host a Gond Art workshop on June 2 led by resident artist Surabhi Gaikwad, and a Tasweer Qatar Photo Festival guided tour on June 14 at Gallery 3 and 4.

M7 will feature The Circle: Summer Edition pop-up from May 31, with interactive shopping experiences on June 1–3. A hair accessory design workshop for children aged 9–12 will be held on June 21.

The Doha Design Biennial will host an online info session for the Doha Design Prize on June 1, providing details on the application process and selection criteria.
