Qatar Enters Al-Balda Season as Final Phase of Winter Begins
Qatar Winter

Qatar enters the Al-Balda season, the final phase of the Al-Shabt winter period, beginning with the rise of the Al-Balda star on 28 January. This seasonal phase lasts for approximately 13 days and is traditionally known for colder nights and cooler winter weather across the country.

During Al-Balda, northwesterly winds often bring chilly conditions, contributing to a noticeable drop in nighttime temperatures. As the days progress, temperatures are expected to gradually ease, while occasional rain clouds may appear, maintaining the classic winter atmosphere experienced during this period.

Al-Balda is considered the last star of the Al-Shabt season, signaling the closing chapter of Qatar’s winter before seasonal transitions begin.
