Qatar Calendar House Announces March 30 as First Day of Eid al-Fitr

The Qatar Calendar House has officially announced that Eid al-Fitr 1446 AH is expected to fall on Sunday, March 30, 2025. This prediction is based on precise astronomical calculations conducted by experts at the institution.

The crescent moon marking the beginning of Shawwal will be born on the evening of Saturday, March 29, at 1:58 pm Doha local time (10:58 am GMT). Consequently, Eid al-Fitr celebrations are set to commence the following day.
