Safe Flight Solutions, in collaboration with Visit Qatar and Al Bidda Park, proudly announces the 6th Edition of the Qatar Balloon Festival, now merging with the Lantern Festival to create one of Qatar’s most spectacular attractions this winter season.
Running from 27th November 2025 to 28th March 2026, with the Qatar Balloon Festival 6th Edition held from 11th to 20th December 2025, this combined celebration will illuminate the Doha skyline with dazzling displays of hot air balloons, lantern art, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities — all at Al Bidda Park.
Festival Highlights
Diverse Balloon Displays:
Over 40 hot air balloons from 9 countries, including special-shaped and traditional designs from Brazil, Monaco, the UK, and more.
Morning Flights at Sunrise:
Daily take-offs from different locations depending on weather — including one special sunrise flight from Sealine, offering breathtaking desert views.
Evening Magic at Al Bidda:
From 3 PM to 11 PM, visitors will enjoy the Balloon Night Glow, tethered balloon shows, and the spectacular Lantern Festival experience — showcasing over 400 illuminated installations, themed zones, and a visual journey of light and art.
Family Activities:
Kids’ play zones, kite workshops, carnival games, food courts, and themed merchandise stalls.
