Partial resumption of air navigation in Qatar has been announced by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), allowing limited flight operations through designated navigational contingency routes with restricted operational capacity.

The Authority confirmed that this step is being implemented in full coordination with the Qatari Armed Forces and relevant authorities in the State.

This phase includes the operation of a limited number of flights designated for passenger evacuation, along with the operation of air cargo flights, in light of the current regional circumstances. These measures aim to ensure the continued provision of essential air services.

QCAA stated that it continues to operate at the highest level of operational readiness, working closely with competent authorities to ensure the safety and security of passengers and personnel in the civil aviation sector. The Authority also aims to maintain the safe and efficient flow of air navigation in accordance with the highest international standards.

Authorities confirmed that developments are being closely monitored, and updates will be shared with the public and aviation sector partners as necessary.

Passengers who have confirmed bookings with airlines are advised to follow the latest updates regarding their flights.

The Authority also clarified that the flights currently being operated do not include scheduled commercial flights to and from Doha, which will resume once an official announcement is issued regarding the safe reopening of Qatari airspace.
