The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has launched an enhanced edition of the Hukoomi platform, marking a new step in Qatar’s digital transformation efforts and supporting the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.

The new platform is the first outcome of the Digital Factory initiative introduced by MCIT. Designed to strengthen government services and digital innovation, the initiative brings together technology, data, and design through a unified framework that promotes integration and governance across government entities.

Built around an innovative “Life Moments” concept, the upgraded platform enables users to access and manage services linked to key stages of life through a more connected and user-focused experience.

HE Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai said the launch reflects Qatar’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation and implementing the objectives of the Digital Agenda 2030. He noted that the platform aims to deliver efficient, accessible and people-centred services that improve quality of life while strengthening the country’s competitiveness and future readiness.

The Digital Factory model also seeks to enhance collaboration between ministries and government entities, allowing them to provide unified, high-quality services that meet the needs of citizens and residents.

At launch, Hukoomi includes six Life Moments: getting married, winter camping, owning a falcon, owning a boat, benefiting from social welfare, and managing retirement. Additional life events and business-related services will be added in future updates.

Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Government Affairs Mashael Ali Al Hammadi said the platform has evolved from an information portal into an interactive gateway where users can access and complete government services directly online.

Among the new features are Single Sign-On access through the National Authentication System “Tawtheeq”, personal profiles, activity and transaction tracking, 24/7 support services, intelligent search capabilities and a virtual assistant. Users can also access saved documents and manage registered assets such as boats and falcons.

The platform offers multilingual support, multiple display options and operates within a secure digital environment designed to provide a seamless and trusted experience.

Hukoomi also introduces a contemporary visual identity inspired by Qatar’s heritage and natural landscape. Its colours draw inspiration from Bin Ghanam Island, the maroon of the Qatari flag and the tones of the desert, reflecting the country’s culture and spirit of innovation.

Users can access the platform through hukoomi.gov.qa and log in using the National Authentication System “Tawtheeq”.
