The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) confirmed that essential goods and products are abundantly available across all sales outlets in Qatar, ensuring consumer needs are met and market stability is maintained. The Ministry highlighted that inspection rounds continue at markets and stores to monitor supply, maintain price stability, and detect any violations, with legal action taken where necessary.
To further support residents, 22 major supermarket branches, including Carrefour, Monoprix, Al Meera, Lulu, and Al Baladi, have extended their hours to operate 24/7. This ensures continuous access to daily necessities and reinforces the availability of high-quality products across the country. Consumers are encouraged to report any observations or violations through official channels.
MOCI reiterated its commitment to safeguarding consumers, keeping prices stable, and providing a variety of options for daily needs. Residents are advised to stay informed through official updates for the latest information on market conditions.
