Qatar’s Ministry of Interior (MOI) has issued a safety reminder that sitting on vehicle roofs or leaning out of windows while the vehicle is in motion is a traffic violation that endangers lives. The authority stressed that such behaviour poses serious risks not only to the individual but also to other road users.
The MOI urged everyone to remain properly seated inside the vehicle at all times and to follow traffic laws and road etiquette to ensure public safety. Sitting on the roof of a moving car is extremely dangerous and is a direct violation of Qatar’s traffic regulations. Adhering to safety rules helps protect lives and promotes a safer road environment for all.
