The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has reminded parents and families about the importance of guiding children to follow safe practices when crossing the road.
The ministry highlighted that teaching schoolchildren how to cross roads safely can help protect them and strengthen their awareness of traffic safety.
As part of its road safety guidance, the Ministry of Interior advises children to:
– Cross only at designated pedestrian crossings.
– Make sure the road is clear before crossing.
– Pay attention to moving vehicles while crossing.
Teaching children these simple safety measures can help them develop safer habits when using roads and increase their awareness of surrounding traffic.
