This obligatory charity, which must be given by all Muslims before the Eid Al Fitr prayer, has been set at QR 15 per person in Qatar.

Zakat Al Fitr is a fundamental part of Ramadan, ensuring that those in need can celebrate Eid with dignity and joy. The designated amount, equivalent to 2.5 kilograms of staple food such as rice, wheat, or dates, aligns with Islamic traditions that emphasize generosity and social welfare.
