A new hands-on creative experience has opened at OliOli® Qatar, inviting children to explore their imagination through cardboard creations, interactive activities and art. The temporary exhibition, imagiNATION, gives children the freedom to build, experiment and create their own imaginative worlds without following step-by-step instructions. At imagiNATION, children can transform everyday cardboard into something extraordinary using a variety of materials provided at the exhibition. The experience encourages them to take the lead, develop their ideas and discover different ways to express their creativity. The exhibition features several activities for children to enjoy. They can build and explore their own cardboard worlds, wander through a cardboard forest and sketch their own paths through an imaginative city. Other activities include starring in their own TV show, creating shadow box performances, and cutting, crafting and designing unique cardboard creations. Children can also experiment with art in motion using a pendulum to create harmonograph artwork. Each activity offers opportunities to explore different materials, experiment with ideas and create something of their own.
