Al Wakra Hospital has achieved a significant milestone by being awarded the prestigious accreditation as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), a globally recognized U.S.-based organization known for advancing surgical care quality and safety worldwide.

This is the first time such recognition has been granted in Qatar, highlighting Al Wakra Hospital’s clinical expertise in minimally invasive gynecological procedures. The accreditation elevates the hospital to an elite group of internationally recognized centers and affirms Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) commitment to world-class surgical care aligned with global standards and best practices, particularly in women’s health.

Dr. Omar Al Qahtani, CEO of Al Wakra Hospital, described the award as a monumental achievement for HMC. “This accreditation is the result of extensively coordinated efforts by our medical and administrative teams.
