In a celebration as bold as the tournament itself, FIFA has unveiled the three Official FIFA World Cup 26™ Mascots — Maple™ the Moose (Canada), Zayu™ the Jaguar (Mexico), and Clutch™ the Bald Eagle (USA).

Representing the three host countries of the world’s greatest sporting event, the mascots embody unity, diversity, and the shared passion for football. Each character has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the culture, heritage, and spirit of their nation:

Maple the Moose (Canada) is a resilient goalkeeper, creative artist, and music enthusiast who embraces individuality and strength.

Zayu the Jaguar (Mexico) symbolizes agility and ingenuity on the pitch while celebrating Mexican culture, traditions, and unity.

Clutch the Bald Eagle (USA) represents optimism and adventure, inspiring teammates with fearless leadership and passion.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino remarked, “The 26 team has just got bigger – and more fun! Maple, Zayu and Clutch are full of joy, energy and the spirit of togetherness, just like the FIFA World Cup itself.”

For the first time, FIFA mascots will also be playable in digital football experiences, including the upcoming FIFA Heroes game under the FIFAe umbrella and FIFA Super League Soccer on Roblox. Fans worldwide will also see them featured on official merchandise, digital platforms, and stadium celebrations.

The FIFA World Cup 26™ will run from 11 June to 19 July 2026, bringing together 48 teams for the first time in history across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Maple, Zayu, and Clutch will be at the heart of the celebrations, inspiring young fans and welcoming the world to North America’s biggest sporting spectacle.
