Cloudy skies and the chance of thundery rain are expected across parts of Qatar this weekend, according to the latest forecast from the Qatar Meteorology Department.

Thursday will be hot to very hot during the day, with local clouds appearing in some areas. Winds will blow from the southeasterly to northeasterly directions, with speeds ranging between 4 and 14 knots and gusts reaching up to 24 knots. Sea waves are forecasted to be 2 to 4 feet high.

On Friday, the weather will remain hot and humid, with local clouds forming that may bring occasional rain and blowing dust in certain locations. Winds will strengthen slightly, blowing at 5 to 15 knots and gusting up to 25 knots. Sea heights will be between 2 and 4 feet, rising to 6 feet at times.

Saturday is expected to see continued hot and humid conditions with a higher chance of thundery rain in some areas during the daytime. Winds will remain southeasterly to northeasterly, reaching 5 to 15 knots and gusting up to 35 knots. Sea conditions will be rougher, with wave heights ranging from 2 to 5 feet.

Temperatures throughout the weekend are forecast to range between 34°C at night and reach highs of up to 43°C during the day. Visibility may be reduced at times due to blowing dust and strong winds.
