The President of the Civil Service Bureau and Government Development, HE Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, has firmly denied recent rumors suggesting that Friday will be designated as a working day in Qatar.

In an interview with Qatar TV, His Excellency clarified that “there is no truth to what is currently being circulated that Friday will be a working day.” He emphasized that the bureau is focused on exploring ways to enhance work systems and efficiency without altering the current structure of the working week.

HE Dr. Al Khalifa reaffirmed that no changes have been made to Qatar’s official working week, dismissing widespread speculation on social media claiming a possible shift to a Saturday–Sunday weekend schedule.
