The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Public Parks Department and Al Rayyan Municipality, in cooperation with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), inaugurated Al Sudan Park during the Qatar National Day celebrations.
This opening reflects the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life by providing diverse green spaces and recreational facilities for residents and visitors, contributing to societal well-being and urban development.
Al Sudan Park covers a total area of 2,303 square meters, with 1,471 square meters dedicated to green spaces. The park features a 164-meter pedestrian path, a 258-square-meter children’s play area, 39 trees, and 107 square meters of shrubs forming a natural fence. It also includes 12 parking spaces and 57 lighting units, ensuring convenience and accessibility for visitors.
These projects align with the Ministry’s commitment to creating safe and healthy urban environments while enhancing recreational infrastructure, in line with the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030.
