One of the biggest draws of Al Shuaa Reserve is its small animal and bird collection, which gives children an easy way to see and learn about different species. You can spot ducks, geese, pigeons, rabbits, goats, ostriches, tortoises, deer, and even Arabian oryx in designated enclosures, and there are opportunities at times to feed some of the animals, which kids love.
For playtime, the park includes children’s playground areas with equipment suitable for younger kids, set close to green lawns where families can sit or have a simple picnic. Shaded seating clusters and family corners make it easy to supervise children while enjoying a relaxed outing away from the city rush
The reserve is designed as a green, shaded space with walking paths, benches, and many trees, creating a cool, relaxing environment even on warm days.
