Al Markhiya Gallery has opened the “Networks Part 4” exhibition at Katara Cultural Village, bringing together works by 13 visual artists from Qatar and across the Arab world.

Organized in partnership with Hafez Gallery, the exhibition features a diverse collection of contemporary artworks that highlight the richness of artistic expression across the region.

The exhibition includes works by Qatari artists Hanadi Darwish, Mubarak Al-Thani, and Wafika Sultan. Artists representing Hafez Gallery include Abdelrahman El Shahed, Bashaer Hawsawi, Donia Al Shetairy, Sami Al Marzoogi, Ibrahim El Dessouki, Khalid Al Mutlaq, Lana Khayat, Mohammed Al Ghamdi, Raeda Ashour, and Sara Al Abdali.

Managing Director of Al Markhiya Gallery, Anas Kutit, said the exhibition is part of the gallery’s ongoing efforts to explore the Arab creative landscape by showcasing significant artworks and strengthening partnerships with galleries across the Arab world.

He explained that the “Networks” series aims to introduce audiences in Qatar to the work of Arab artists while also promoting Qatari creativity throughout the region through collaborative exhibitions.

According to Kutit, the series began with artists from Syria, followed by Egypt and the Levant, before returning in its fourth edition to the Arabian Gulf. He added that the exhibition brings together pioneering, mid-career, and emerging artists, reflecting a wide range of artistic styles and approaches.

The exhibition highlights the diversity and vitality of the visual arts scene in the Gulf and the wider Arab world, offering visitors an opportunity to explore different creative perspectives under one roof.
