The 34th edition of the Doha International Book Fair is set to take place from May 8 to May 17, 2025, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC). Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, the event welcomes book lovers of all ages for an inspiring literary celebration.
As one of the oldest and largest book fairs in the region, the fair enjoys a strong reputation and high demand from Arab, Gulf, and international publishing houses. Originally launched in 1972 under Dar Al Kutub Al Qatariya, it transitioned from a biennial to an annual event in 2002. It now attracts over 400 publishers from 40 countries, covering 29,000 square meters of space.
Since 2010, DIBF has selected a different Guest of Honour country each year, with past honorees including the USA, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Japan, Brazil, Germany, France.
