Residents across Qatar will have the chance to observe a beautiful celestial pairing tomorrow, Wednesday, as the planet Jupiter appears near the waning crescent Moon of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1448 AH.

According to Qatar Calendar House, Jupiter and the Moon will be visible together with the naked eye above the eastern horizon after moonrise at 3:16 a.m., remaining visible until shortly before sunrise.

The early-morning skywatching opportunity will allow residents to spot the bright planet close to the thin crescent Moon, provided weather and visibility conditions are suitable.

Qatar Calendar House also noted that Jupiter is the fastest-rotating planet in the Solar System, completing one rotation around its axis in a relatively short period.

Residents interested in observing the event can look toward the eastern horizon from after 3:16 a.m. until just before sunrise.
