The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) will launch its “Care Summer” program at the beginning of August 2026, offering free field training opportunities for students aged 12 to 18 years across six health centers in Qatar. The initiative is open to both Qatari citizens and residents enrolled in public and private schools.
The program aims to introduce young participants to the healthcare sector through practical field training while helping them develop valuable skills in a professional environment. It will be hosted at six PHCC health centers located in different areas of the country, making it accessible to students from across Qatar.
Running from August 3 to August 26, 2026, the program will take place three days a week—Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Participants can choose between two daily shifts: a morning session from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm or an evening session from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In total, students will complete 12 training days and 36 hours of field experience.
PHCC’s Care Summer initiative is designed to provide students with an engaging educational experience during the summer break while encouraging greater awareness of healthcare careers and community health services.
