Cultural Village Foundation – Katara has inaugurated the Mahaseel Festival, organised in cooperation with the Agricultural Development Department at the Ministry of Municipality. The festival runs from 21 February 2026 until the end of Ramadan, welcoming visitors daily from 7:00 PM to 12:00 midnight with free entry.
Held in Fereej Katara, the event offers an integrated shopping experience that brings together the quality of national agricultural products with a vibrant family-friendly atmosphere.
The festival features 75 pavilions, highlighting the richness and diversity of Qatar’s agricultural sector: 22 local farms, 21 nurseries, 17 date shops and 15 honey shops.
This strong participation gives visitors the opportunity to purchase fresh, locally produced items directly from the source while supporting national production.
Beyond shopping, the Mahaseel Festival provides a complete family experience. A dedicated children’s play area and interactive workshops introduce young visitors to agricultural awareness and sustainability concepts in an engaging way.
The festival serves as an important platform for promoting Qatari agricultural products, strengthening their presence in the market, and creating a direct connection between producers and consumers in a comfortable community setting.
