Msheireb Downtown Doha has unveiled its comprehensive seasonal programme for Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr 2026, themed “Layali Msheireb.” Running throughout the holy month, the smart and sustainable district will transform into a glowing hub of community, celebration, and spiritual reflection through a series of cultural activations and artistic installations.
At the heart of the programme, Barahat Msheireb will serve as the main gathering space for evening experiences, hosting exclusive Iftar and Suhoor offerings in collaboration with Mandarin Oriental Doha. Known as Baraha Ramadan Nights, these experiences provide families and friends with an elegant setting to break their fast while surrounded by the district’s distinctive architecture.
A key highlight of this year’s programme is a district-wide initiative in partnership with Qatar Charity, offering visitors an interactive opportunity to contribute through donations. This initiative aims to promote a culture of giving and strengthen social responsibility during the holy month.
Commenting on the programme, Dr. Hafiz Ali Abdulla, Senior Director of Corporate Communication at Msheireb Properties, highlighted that the Ramadan activations bring together spiritual, cultural, and communal elements. Visitors are invited to engage with activities that celebrate tradition, togetherness, and the deeper meaning of the season in an environment that reflects both heritage and modernity.
As part of the seasonal transformation, Fereej Msheireb will be reimagined to reflect traditional neighbourhood life. This area will showcase heritage-inspired retail concepts and food offerings that echo the businesses and experiences historically found within the district, reconnecting visitors with Msheireb’s cultural roots.
