Youth Fest 2025 at Teen Hub

Teen Hub, an innovative initiative by Qatar Museums, is proud to announce the launch of Youth Fest 2025, Qatar’s first youth-led urban sustainability festival as part of Qatar Sustainability Week, organized by Qatar Foundation’s Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future.

Taking place at the Teen Hub in Al Bidda Park from 1-8 November 2025, Youth Fest 2025 aims to empower young people to take the lead in shaping a sustainable future. Over eight days Teen Hub and Al Bidda Park will be transformed into a vibrant space celebrating creativity, innovation, and environmental awareness.

The opening and closing weekends on 1 and 8 November will unite the community through live youth performances, street food experiences featuring plant-based menus and eco-friendly packaging, and a youth bazaar showcasing sustainable products by young artisans and start-ups.

From 2 – 6 November, Teen Hub will host a series of hands-on workshops and sessions designed to inspire young people to integrate sustainability into their daily lives. Workshops will explore topics including composting and waste reduction, upcycled art, mindful self-care, product design, and sustainable cooking using local ingredients.

By engaging the next generation of changemakers, Youth Fest 2025 underscores Qatar Museums’ commitment to fostering environmental awareness and empowering youth to drive positive change across the community.

Commenting on the unique occasion, Abdulrahman Al Ishaq, Director of Teen Hub, said: “The inaugural edition of Youth Fest represents the spirit of Qatar’s youth; creative, passionate, and determined to make a difference. Through this festival, we are giving young people the platform and tools to turn their ideas into action and lead the change toward a more sustainable future. It is a celebration of their voice, their vision, and their power to shape the world they want to live in. We invite everyone to be part of this one-of-a-kind experience to empower the future generation to make an impactful difference.”

As the main sponsor of Youth Fest 2025, Doha Festival City joins Qatar Museums in championing youth-led sustainability and creative innovation. Mohamed ElSharkawy, Associate Director – Malls Leasing, Doha Festival City, said: “Doha Festival City is proud to sponsor Youth Fest 2025, a remarkable initiative that empowers young minds to lead the way toward a more sustainable future. This collaboration reflects our enduring commitment to sustainability and community engagement, which are at the heart of our vision as a vibrant hub for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, where global and local brands come together to inspire, connect, and engage our community. By supporting Qatar Museums and the next generation of changemakers, we are investing in creativity and innovation that will shape a more sustainable tomorrow.”

In collaboration with Qatar Museums’ entities and community partners, the festival will feature a range of special activations open to the public, including the Qatar Auto Museum will host creative workshops with Qatari artist Jaber Henzab, where participants can learn car design techniques and express their creativity by painting directly onto a car.

Dr. Gonzalo Castro de la Mata, Executive Director of Earthna, emphasized the importance of engaging young people during QSW 2025, saying: “When young people are invited to take part in sustainability early on, they approach it with imagination and purpose. Their ideas remind us that building an equitable and resilient future begins with giving them space to lead today.”

These initiatives, among several other engaging activities, underscore the collaborative spirit of Youth Fest 2025, which highlights Teen Hub’s dedication to empowering young people, nurturing creativity, and promoting sustainability in alignment with Qatar’s National Vision 2030. The festival reflects Qatar Museums’ commitment to developing the next generation of cultural leaders and change-makers who will shape the nation’s creative and sustainable future.

This year marks the 20 th  anniversary of Qatar Museums, a milestone celebrated through Evolution Nation – an 18-month campaign honouring Qatar’s cultural journey over the past 50 years, since the founding of the National Museum of Qatar. Curated by Qatar Creates, the national movement positioning Qatar as a global hub for art, culture, and creativity, Evolution Nation highlights both the nation’s cultural milestones and its aspirations for the future.
