The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary full closure of Al Corniche Street for traffic coming from the National Theater Interchange intersection and heading toward Grand Hamad Interchange, in both directions.

The closure will take effect from 10:00 PM on Thursday, 16 October 2025, until 5:00 AM on Sunday, 19 October 2025, to facilitate reinstatement and ongoing road development works.

During this period, Ashghal advises all motorists to adhere to the speed limits, follow the diversion signs, and use alternative routes to reach their destinations safely and efficiently. The authority emphasizes the importance of planning ahead and allowing extra travel time to minimize inconvenience.

The temporary closure is part of Ashghal’s continuous efforts to enhance Doha’s road network, improve traffic flow, and ensure safer and more efficient transportation for all road users.
