Simaisma Project: Land of Legends Theme Park

The Simaisma Project is located 40km away from north of Doha and will provide novel tourist and entertainment experiences to the people of Qatar and its visitors.
Spanning 8 million square metres and stretching along 7 kilometres of pristine beachfront on Qatar’s eastern coast, Simaisma offers a unique year-round experience with outdoor air conditioning technology.

The project will provide promising investment opportunities, with 16 tourism zones available for development, including resorts that spread out over four zones each with a unique design and character. In addition, the project will feature a 650,000sqm Land of Legends, Trump International Golf Club with signature 18-hole golf course and branded residences,, residential villas, a yacht marina, as well as luxury restaurants and retail.

Sustainability will be a fundamental pillar of the project, with reliance on smart systems, in addition to the use of local and recycled materials, as well as the latest in construction technology.

Dugong Adventure World

Qatar’s entertainment landscape is about to be transformed with the arrival of Dugong Adventure World, the country’s first-ever animation-themed leisure park — officially confirmed to launch at 900 Park, located in the heart of Doha.

Housed within the dynamic and culture-rich 900 Park destination, Dugong Adventure World is an immersive family experience built around the original Dugong Family — five animated characters that embody the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030:

Qatar Auto Museum

Qatar Auto Museum is a new project that will bring Qatar’s car community under one roof and one mission: to drive culture forward and to inspire the next generation of innovators, designers, engineers, collectors and policymakers through a shared passion for cars.

Designed by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), led by Pritzker Prize– winning architect Rem Koolhaas, the Qatar Auto Museum will be located along the Lusail Expressway between the 5/6 Park and Katara Cultural Village, in the former exhibition center building that hosted the first Qatar Motor Show in 2011.

The 30,000-square-meter (320,000-square-foot) museum will include permanent galleries and temporary galleries that explore the past, present and future of the automobile and its impact on global life and culture. They will spotlight the car as a proud marker of Qatar’s growth, a common thread between a diverse population, and a unifying vehicle of culture and innovation.

Other facilities will include an Edutainment Center that will house a “Made in Qatar” innovation lab, a Traffic Safety lab, a Mobility and Sustainable Energy lab, a Geekdom Qatar pop culture Center, and areas for children’s activities such as driving simulators and mini car mechanics, children’s driving zones and many more. The museum building will also include a Technology Hub, Classic cars Restoration Centre, Cars Customization and Redesign Centre, and the Museum’s Vault of Cars.

Art Mill Museum

Art Mill Museum

The Art Mill Museum is Qatar’s future museum of international modern and contemporary art developed by Qatar Museums in Doha. Due to open in 2030, the museum will transform an industrial flour mill site on the Corniche, forming a triangle with the existing Museum of Islamic Art and the National Museum of Qatar.

In 2016, an international architecture competition awarded this architectural project to the Chilean studio ELEMENTAL, led by the Pritzker Prize-winning architect Alejandro Aravena. A public garden will be designed by VOGT Landscape Architects, led by Günther Vogt.

The Art Mill Museum will house exceptional collections started 40 years ago with multidisciplinary works of great diversity, dating from 1850 to the present. It will present painting, sculpture and photography, as well as architecture and design, films and film props, fashion, crafts, and much more. A pioneering institution in the non-Western world, it will represent the modern and contemporary arts of all regions of the globe on an equal basis, engaging local and international audiences alike through multiple narratives of art history. The site will also include a creative village.

Avenue Mall is an upcoming retail and lifestyle destination set to open in 2025. The mall boasts a contemporary architectural design that seamlessly integrates modernity with traditional Qatari elements. With 53 retail stores, eight kiosks, and 750 dedicated parking spaces, Avenue Mall is designed to offer a comprehensive shopping experience. It features five main entrances, ensuring easy access for both residents and visitors. The mall is also expected to house high-end brands, designer boutiques, and local artisans, catering to diverse shopping preferences. Plans for entertainment facilities, including a state-of-the-art cinema and various leisure activities, aim to make Avenue Mall a family-friendly hotspot. Additionally, the mall emphasizes sustainability with eco-friendly practices integrated into its design and operations.
