July Marks Peak of Summer Temperatures in Qatar
July is officially the second month of summer in Qatar, and it records the highest average temperatures of the year, according to data from Qatar Weather. The lowest recorded temperature in July was 23.5°C in 1969, while the highest was a scorching 50.4°C in 2010. In the first half of the month, the Indian monsoon low deepens into southern Iran in sync with high pressure in northern Arabian Peninsula causing Northwesterly dry winds over the country during the first week. In the second half of month, the Indian monsoon low deepens further over central Arabian Peninsula causing Easterly humid winds.
