The Ministry of Labour has announced the temporary suspension of delivery motorcycle operations during midday hours, effective from 1 June 2025 to 15 September 2025. The suspension will be enforced daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This decision is part of the Ministry’s efforts to protect delivery workers from the dangers of heat stress during the summer months. The move aims to enhance workplace safety and uphold labour rights in extreme weather conditions.

All delivery service providers are expected to comply with the new regulation throughout the specified period.
