The Department of Meteorology has issued a weather alert for tonight, valid until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, highlighting relatively hot daytime conditions accompanied by dusty to blowing dust in certain inshore areas. Strong northwesterly winds are expected, leading to poor horizontal visibility.
Offshore conditions will also be affected, with slight dust to dusty weather at times. Mariners are warned of strong winds, rough seas, and reduced visibility in some locations.

- Visibility:
- Inshore: 4 – 8 km, dropping to 2 km or less in some places
