His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani affirmed that the inauguration of two strategic solar power projects in Ras Laffan and Mesaieed aligns with Qatar’s ongoing efforts to transition to renewable energy, diversify energy sources, and support strategic development projects.

In a post shared on his official X account, HH the Amir stated that the projects are part of the country’s broader plans for renewable energy transition.

His Highness emphasized that these solar power plants aim to diversify Qatar’s energy resources, support strategic development initiatives, and harness the potential of low-carbon energy as part of sustainability efforts and environmental impact mitigation.
