Qatar Museums has officially launched the second edition of the Design Doha Prize, a prestigious biennial initiative that celebrates outstanding talent in design across the MENA region.
The Prize will honour four designers across the categories of craft, product design, furniture design, and a newly introduced emerging talent category for 2025. Each winner will receive 200,000 QAR, mentorship opportunities, international exposure, access to global retail, and a design residency.
Applications open on April 20, 2025, and close on June 30, 2025. A panel of renowned jurors will select twenty finalists, whose works will be showcased in a public exhibition. Winners will be announced during an official prize ceremony.
The Design Doha Prize is held under the patronage of HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani and reflects Qatar’s growing role as a cultural and creative hub in the region.
