The 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (QOSM) has officially launched the 321 Cultural Olympiad, a creative initiative celebrating the powerful connection between sport and art, inspired by the vision of Baron Pierre de Coubertin, founder of the modern Olympic Games.
Running from June 1 to 24, 2025, the 321 Cultural Olympiad invites students from Grade 6 and above to explore the Olympic and Paralympic values through creativity. Participants will design and present a Cultural Olympiad Expo, showcasing themes and stories from Olympic history reimagined through the lens of youth expression.
This initiative revives the historical tradition of the Cultural Olympiad, where art, literature, music, and architecture were celebrated alongside athletic competitions from 1912 to 1948.
The event will culminate in a special Awards Ceremony on June 23, recognizing outstanding student contributions. The ceremony will be attended by students, teachers, judges, and key partners such as the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF).
The 321 Cultural Olympiad reflects Qatar’s growing role in global sports and its commitment to fostering the Olympic spirit through education, creativity, and cultural engagement.
